My husband always had serious health problems… He was in a car crash. We were around 21 years old. That's where it all began, [but] he recovered and kept working. [He] was always a cab driver [and] had a business selling bar ice and bottled water.
I was a librarian. We belonged to the municipality of Miacatlán, but the library was in my town, in [Coatetelco]. My son and my [youngest] daughter, who was still single, lived with us. That was our normal life before the tragedies.
